Project Pride Coupons

Project Pride serves Holland residents looking to dispose of items too large for their cart or not accepted curbside. Residents may request up to two coupons per year, each valid for a free, one-time disposal at a local dump of miscellaneous items weighing less than half a ton.

Program Qualifications

Residents

Residents must be enrolled in the City’s Residential Refuse & Recycling Program, and any refuse account payments (including yard waste) must be up-to-date. For eligibility questions, please call 616-355-1330.

Materials

Project Pride drop-off materials may not include hazardous waste or chemicals, propane tanks, motor oil, tires, TVs, computers, or commercial debris. For more information on disposing of hazardous materials, visit Ottawa County Health Department’s Household Hazardous Waste page.

While most items are free, some extra-large items including boats, hot tubs, out-buildings, pianos, and sheds require an additional processing fee. Likewise, drop-offs weighing over half a ton may be subject to an additional disposal fee.

Project Pride Coupons are available by request at City Hall or by contacting the Holland Community & Neighborhood Services Department.
